This blog is to help us ponder truth as we share our insights and inspirements throughout the week.
Each week will start with a question. You are asked to ponder it, discuss it with your family, and seek evidence for the answer in any of your studies that week. Post your inspirements too!

"Remember"

My Quote:
"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn."
Benjamin Franklin
I chose this quote because it reminds me of an acronym I know called the EDGE method
EDGE method:
Explain
Demonstrate
Guide
Enable
This acronym is used most commonly for teaching others how to do different things.
I think that has to do with remember through different forms of repetition.

  1. Nice thought, Aaron! I love how part of explaining is to Demonstrate. I think it goes to show that our actions speak louder than our words.

  2. What a cool connection! I think it is true that repetition helps us remember - maybe that is part of the point of ordinances - and why they ask us to go to the temple often to remember them. You are doing something repetitious with your body to bring things to your mind. I guess Heavenly Father likes the EDGE method :-)
